Mission/Service Project: “KC”

Kid’s Connection Mission Project

Kid’s Connection (K.C.) is a FREE program offered once a month for 4th  through 6th grade  children in the Bound Brook area in the hope of offering a safe, positive environment for them.  We provide a meal along with the opportunity for socialization, physical activity and creative development.  In a world where there can be challenging life circumstances, we hope to empower children to make healthy, good choices in their lives, to feel affirmed and to believe in themselves.

Our Mission is to provide a safe, positive option once a month for 4th through 6th grade children in the Bound Brook area who are potentially at-risk for encountering challenging life circumstances either now or in the future.  Some children may live in poverty and not have enough food, some may have difficult family situations and others may eventually be targeted by drugs or gangs in their neighborhoods or at school.  Some may simply be lonely.  We will provide a meal along with the opportunity for socialization, physical activity and creative development in a safe environment.  We hope to empower children to make healthy, positive choices in their lives, to feel affirmed and to believe in themselves.

The Program: 1st Wednesday of Each Month from 6 pm to 8 pm
